From the Banal to the Memorable

In his book ‘The Memory Book’, Harry Loryane refers to a 3000 year old scroll.

I read the scroll to Surraya Aziz, my daughter and we talk about how memory ‘stirs the mind’. We go from an example that we initially label as ‘benign’ and realize it was anything but!

You need the routine to be creative, you need the benign for the memorable, you need the base line for jazz or else all you have is chaos.
